Sean Hanson’s IT career spans more than 30 years. After decades of self-teaching, Sean graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business - Information Technology Management. In recent years, he worked with Marmot Library Network as their IT director. With over 20 years of specializing in managing IT for public libraries, Sean has a deep understanding of balancing IT security while also protecting patron privacy. He is passionate about helping organizations safely utilize technology to enrich their services. In 2024 he was recognized with the Colorado Association of Libraries Unsung Hero Award.
